Mar 18 at 11:35 comment added pygosceles It is an admission of the fracture of nominal Christendom. Otherwise authoritative answers to basic questions enjoying good consensus and a minimum of contention could be commonplace and promoted. By requiring for example a denomination to be specified or a denominational survey requested, the site gives off a veneer of unison when in fact underneath that is not the case. It does seem to have some benefits, but is very confusing to onlookers and newcomers who expect a unified response, but instead find themselves having to have already mostly answered their question before they ask it.

Jun 25, 2014 at 9:30 comment added user3961 It's been a few days. What do you think about these answers? Are you coming around on why the community set up the site to be based on "what Christian group x believes" instead of "what is God's Truth?"
