Russel's teapot may exists, but if we can not locate it now, nor prove all its orbit is clear today, the discussion becomes pointless. The SO as a platform was born exactly for questions that have objectively true answer here and now. | |

The answer may seem a bit more difficult to discover, and may not be knowable with 100% certainty, but it's still objectively true or false. | |

This entire platform is based on the assumption that Objective Truth actually exists of course it is (for the context)! The platform built to facilitate civil DEBATE what was it? The platform - SO site - was built to collect Q&A about software programming, where 2+2=4 and objective truth usually does exist and where "questions too broad to have precise (thus, objectively true) answer" were banned as off-topic. Maybe it was stretching this format beyond realms where objective truth exists that was wrong in hindsight...
